FeatureWIDE USE: Ideal for all water quality testing, water purification applications, aquariums and saltwater tanks, wastewater regulation, aquaculture, hydroponics, laboratory and scientific testing, pools, ecology testing, colloidal silver, water treatment, etc.
FACTORY CALIBRATED: the TDS meters are factory-calibrated at 342 ppm NaCl and designed to stay consistent
ACCURATE: TDS readings are adjusted with automatic temperature compensation, assuring users of consistent and accurate measurements of total dissolved solids
HOLD AND AUTO-OFF FUNCTIONS: the tester has data-hold function, it locks your readings making it easy to record. The instrument will automatically shut down after 9 min of inactivity
EASY TO USE: Get your testing results in seconds. Turn on, immerse the electrode in the testing liquid, press Hold button and read the numbers
7Pros TDS meter is a small hand-held device used to indicate the Total Dissolved Solids in a solution, usually water. Since dissolved ionized solids such as salts and minerals increase the conductivity of a solution, a TDS meter measures the conductivity of the solution and estimates the TDS from that reading. The use of "TDS" (total dissolved solids) meters for analyzing the purity of fresh water has become widespread in recent years. Many aquarists use them to determine if tap water purification systems such as reverse osmosis (RO) or reverse osmosis/deionization (RO/DI) are working properly, or if deionizing resins need to be replaced.
